3IPHERA 0.3.0 WINDOWS BETA

1. Run 3iphera-0.3.0-win-x64.exe to install 3iphera.
2. Open 3iphera. The default homeserver is https://chat.3iphera.com. Sign in or create an account using your own email address. Open its verification link within 15 minutes, then finish account creation. Email verification is required. Google/Apple sign-in is pending provider configuration and acceptance.
3. For optional local evaluation, double-click Test-Server\Start-Test-Server.cmd and keep its terminal open. Select homeserver http://127.0.0.1:18008 in 3iphera, then create a lowercase username and a password of at least 12 characters. Local test-server accounts are separate from public-service accounts.
4. To test two independent accounts on this PC, double-click Start-Test-Clients.cmd. It opens two separate 3iphera profiles with Windows-protected credentials. Use a different account in each window; you can create both accounts yourself on the optional local test server.
5. Start a new conversation with the contact's complete Matrix ID shown in their profile (local test example: @bob:ciphera.test). The contact accepts the invitation. Both people open Security, load each other's devices, compare their complete SHA-512 fingerprints and verify them. Then send messages and files.
6. File/media bytes transfer directly between verified devices, with explicit receiver acceptance. Both devices must stay open; there is no server file storage or offline file delivery. Files are limited to 256 MiB each. An optional encrypted TURN relay forwards traffic without file persistence.
7. Test restart, key backup, and history restoration. Export a key backup before signing out. Signing out removes the local device's encryption store.

The loopback test server is only for local beta testing; do not expose it publicly. Its users and data persist in Test-Server\data. The public service and installer remain beta and require production acceptance. Windows publisher signing is still required. Automatic updates are disabled in this unsigned beta. The branded update flow is implemented for signed releases with a configured HTTPS feed; a successful signed automatic upgrade has not yet been tested.

Test server source: Dendrite v0.15.2, revision e546df2e1ec9f53244a066c070ba5134af565f28. Its corresponding upstream source and AGPLv3 license are included. Build instructions are in the source archive README.md and the project scripts/setup-test-server.ps1.

macOS is deferred until Windows production acceptance. This kit is a beta and does not claim production readiness or an independent security audit.
